On December 25, on Erosi Manjgaladze Stadium in Samtredia, the Captain of Georgian National Football Team Kakha Kaladze organized an event under the aegis of “Kala Foundation”. In the course of the event 100 students of Samtredia football school, aged 9-16, were given presents: complete set of sporting clothes, training and playing pants, T-shirts, gaiters, warm coats, goal-keepers uniforms and gloves. All the trainers were also given corresponding clothes. It should be underlined that all the presents were made especially for Samtredia Football School by a famous Italian brand Errea. Many European teams play in T-shirts with the logo of “Errea”, including Italian teams Bari, Atalanta, Parma, Dutch team Den Hague, Belgian Chalreroi, Scottish Hibernian, Spanish Numancia and others. For Kakha Kaladze the above-mentioned event is not the first charity act. Recently Kala Foundation rendered financial support to 30 little patients of Gvamichava National Center of Oncology.
Assistance to minor patients of the Oncological Center
On September 5 the captain of the Georgian national team and president of the “Kala Foundation” Kakha Kaladze together with the head coach of the national team Temur Ketsbaia visited 20 under age patients of A. Gvamichava National Center of Oncology. Kakha Kaladze on behalf of the “Kala Foundation” gave presents and rendered financial assistance to each patient in the amount of 500 laries.
On 27th of June of 2010, the youth football tournament of Muskhi was inaugurated at the base of the football school of the Mukshi village of the Akhaltsikhe province financed by the “Kala Foundation”. Kakha Kaladze and the representatives of the “Kala Foundation” arrived in Muskhi on purpose in order to attend the inauguration of the tournament. At the ceremony of the inauguration, the t shirts sewed thanks to the financing of “Kala Foundation” were given to the pupils of the Muskhi football school personally by Kakha Kaladze. The famous player and founder of the “Kala Foundation” gave also the ball with his own autograph to the winning team. The victory in the youth tournament was gained by the pupils of the Muskhi football school that is undoubtedly a sign of big success of the project financed by the “Kala Foundation”.
Inauguration of the football school of the village Muskhi
On 7th of April of 2010, thanks to the financing of the “Kala Foundation” a football school of relevant standards was inaugurated in the village Muskhi of the town hall of Akhaltsikhe. The non Governmental organization “Healthy generation” is the initiator of the project. The project’s goal was the creation in the village Muskhi of the town hall of Akhaltsikhe of a football school meeting the existing standards where the youngsters of the province, namely, the teenagers with the age from 6 to 15 years, will have the possibility to train thanks to the help of highly qualified coaches and throughout using the relevant material base and sports facilities that, from one side, will facilitate serious interest of the teenagers of the Akhaltsikhe province towards football, will help them in the qualified development of this interest and, from the other side, will contribute also to the introducing of a healthy way of life in the teenager generation of the same province. “Kala Foundation” will finance the project of the Muskhi football school during three years, till 2012. In the framework of the project the “Kala Foundation” will assure the creation of the relevant material-technical base and supply of the school by the sports facilities necessary for its functioning. The Foundation financed the following things for the opening of the school: technical equipment of the stadium of Muskhi (manufacturing of the goals and of the nets), sewing of the football strips and training shirts for about 60 pupils of the school, purchasing of the whistles, of the flags and of 50 balls, manufacturing of the coache’s tracksuits. In the framework of the project formation of the school’s 2 coaches and of the referees at the special courses of the Georgian Football Federation is also envisaged. During three years the “Kala Foundation” will also assure the payment of monthly salary of the coaches. Right now approximately 60 pupils of 6 villages of the Akhaltsikhe town hall train in the Muskhi football school. The inauguration of the school took place on 7th of April of 2010.
Gasification of a little family-type orphanage of Etseri
In the spring of 2010, on the basis of the project presented by the Kutaisi Centre of Education, Development and Employment, the “Kala Foundation” financed the works necessary for the assurance of delivery of natural gas to the little family-type orphanage of Etseri in the province of Samtredia as well as the purchasing of the water-heater. In the little family-type orphanage of Etseri there are mainly the ex pupils of some institutional bodies, namely, those children deprived of the parent’s care who in the present moment can not be neither returned to their families of origin nor be adopted. From June of 2010, thanks to the financial assistance of the “Kala Foundation”, little family-type orphanage of the Etseri village will be supplied by the natural gas that was one of the main problems of the orphanage.
